In the fall of 2013, Yevgeny Kutik will be a featured soloist with the newly formed All Star Orchestra playing Joseph Schwantner’s “The Poet’s Hour” for violin and orchestra on a nationally broadcast program for public television. The All Star Orchestra is comprised of American orchestral musicians from all over the country that taped eight programs in August 2012, all of which will be broadcast on public television and then issued on DVDs by Naxos.
The Montenegrin daily newspaper, “Pobejda”, said about Yevgeny’s recent Tchaikovsky Concerto with the Montenegrin National Symphony: “Yevgeny Kutik’s complete command of his technical facility is undeniable; he handled the interpretation of the concerto with impressive precision…”
After Yevgeny’s appearances with the North German Philharmonic playing the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in Rostock, Germany, OSTSEE ZEITUNG and NORDDUETSCHE NEUESTE NACHRICHTEN have delivered rave reviews about the performances.
Yevgeny Kutik joined host Cathy Fuller for an hour of music and conversation on the WGBH show ‘Live from Fraser.’ Though it was originally broadcast November 11, 2010 on 99.5 All Classical Boston, it is archived online and available for listening at anytime.
